The wait for fans of the popular fighting series has finally come to an end as Namco Bandai Games announced that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be released exclusively for PlayStation 3 and Xbox One on February 9th, 2016.

In a recent interview with Famitsu magazine in Japan, producer Hisashi 'Hama' Shirakawa confirmed the release date of January 28th (January 26th in North America) for both console versions. This news comes just days after Namco Bando announced that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution would be released worldwide on October 22nd.

The latest installment promises to deliver more intense action-packed gameplay with new features such as the ability to execute combo attacks using two characters at once, known as 'Team Battle'. Additionally, players can also expect an all-new story mode called 'S-Courts' which pits them against CPU opponents in a series of one-on-one matches.

Namco Bandai Games has done it again with the latest installment in their popular fighting series - Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox One. Building upon previous titles like Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, this game promises more of everything fans love about the franchise while introducing some fresh new features to keep things interesting.

The story mode continues where it left off in Naruto Shimpudern: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 with a cliffhanger ending that leaves many questions unanswered. Luckily for us gamers out there who just want to jump straight into the action without worrying too much about plot details, Namco Bandi has provided an 'extra' storyline called 'S-Courts' which serves as filler material until Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 5 (if there ever is one). This new mode pits players against CPU opponents in a series of versus matches with no discernible objective other than simply winning.

Graphically speaking, UNS4 looks absolutely stunning on both PS3 and Xbox One consoles. Character designs are detailed enough to distinguish between different characters even when viewed at close range thanks largely due credit going towards Namco Bandai's talented team who worked hard ensuring every detail was taken care of down from hair follicles all the way up until clothing textures.

One major complaint however lies within gameplay mechanics themselves; while combos feel satisfyingly fluid especially during special moves, there seems to be a lackluster attempt at innovation compared to previous titles. Don't get me wrong though - it's still plenty fun to mow down enemies with your favorite ninja hero(s), but something feels missing here.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 for PS3 and Xbox One is an enjoyable experience overall, even if not quite as groundbreaking as its predecessors. Fans will still find plenty to love about this latest installment in the series thanks largely due credit going towards Namco Bandai's continued efforts to improve upon previous titles while introducing new features such as 'Team Battle' mode.

However, those looking for something entirely fresh may want to wait and see what future releases have in store before diving headfirst into UNS4. Until then though, Naruto fans can rest assured knowing they'll still be able to get their fix of fast-paced action-packed fighting gameplay whenever the mood strikes them!
